A restrung Western Asiatic restrung necklace composed of stone and shell beads of different hues of white and cream. The body of the necklace is comprised of small rounded beads, interspersed with slightly larger, ovoid beads. At the centre of the necklace, a stack of six beads acts as a pendant, including a ribbed tubular bead, a textured ovoid bead, a rounded bead, a disc-shaped bead, an irregular bead and finished with a conical bead. The stack of beads increases in size towards the conical bead. Some of the beads feature natural striations and some surface roughness. Each bead presents a unique shape and a different shade of colour and texture. Please note this necklace is unclasped and threaded on string.
