A stunning, time-capsule example of Japanese stationery history: a vintage PLATINUM Pocket fountain pen from the late 1960s to 1970s. This innovative "pocket pen" design features a short, compact body when capped, which extends to a perfectly balanced, full-sized writing instrument when the cap is posted on the back.

This premium model is equipped with a beautiful 14K/18K solid gold nib (stamped 18K / 750). Incredibly, it still retains its original factory paper sticker on the barrel reading "18K ¥3,000 細字 (Fine)", confirming its New Old Stock (NOS) / near-mint history.

Condition:

Overall & Aesthetics: Excellent to Near-Mint vintage condition (New Old Stock quality). The black resin body and gold-plated trim retain an incredible factory-fresh gloss with virtually no signs of actual use. The original price sticker is beautifully intact on the barrel. No personal name engravings.

Nib & Section: The 18K solid gold nib is in beautiful shape. For total transparency, there is very minor, natural vintage tarnishing/cloudiness on the gold surface due to decades of storage, but it remains uncleaned to preserve its authentic state.

Filling System: Cartridge filling system (Takes standard Platinum cartridges. Ink/converter not included).
