Counter spikes make pulling of the arrow almost impossible on the battlefield, which drastically increases the chances of mortality. The counter spike of this specimen is reduced, presumably cut after removal from the body of the injured; otherwise, almost intact, with a wonderful dark, natural patina.
Scarce.
