An Ancient Roman bronze antoninianus of Salonina. The obverse displays the diademed and draped bust of Salonina, wife of Gallienus, facing right, on a crescent, with the legend, SALONINA AVG. The reverse features Venus, draped, standing left, holding a helmet in her right hand and a sceptre in her left hand. At her feet, Cupid stands before her, facing her. The accompanying legend reads VENVS VICT and the mintmark P is in the right field. This coin was likely minted in Mediolanum.
