方足布為先秦時期流通的銅鑄布幣，因平直方正的幣足得名，主要流行於戰國時代。方足布起源於鄭、衛、宋等國對尖足布的改良，初期由燕國涿、漁陽等地鑄造，後韓、趙、魏等國相繼參與。其形制由尖足布改良而來，通過改尖足為方足增強抗損性，並加寬頸部、添加凸耳，形成銳角布樣式，鑄工與銘文較早期更為精細。該幣種發展至後期三晉鑄造時，大小約為5-8克。幣面常鑄地名，背面標註方位或數字，尤以燕國方足布的“左”“右”標記為典型。也因年代久遠，少有漂亮的，這枚方足布極為漂亮，請收藏家切勿錯過。
07. ACCA XF+, Warring States Period - Square-Foot Spade Coin (Qi Character), Rare and Excellent Selection. The square-foot spade coin was a bronze-cast spade coin circulating during the pre-Qin period, named for its flat, square feet. It was mainly popular during the Warring States period. The square-foot spade coin originated from improvements made to the pointed-foot spade coin by the states of Zheng, Wei, and Song. Initially, it was minted in Zhuo and Yuyang of the Yan state, later joined by the states of Han, Zhao, and Wei. Its shape evolved from the pointed-foot spade coin, with the pointed feet changed to square feet to enhance its resistance to damage. The neck was widened, and protruding ears were added, creating a sharp-angled spade coin style. The casting and inscriptions were more refined than earlier versions. By the time this coin was minted in the later Jin state, it weighed approximately 5-8 grams. The obverse often featured the place name, while the reverse indicated direction or numbers, especially the "left" and "right" markings on the Yan state square-foot spade coin. Due to its age, beautiful examples are rare; this square-foot spade coin is exceptionally beautiful, and collectors should not miss it.
