Val Saint Lambert – Taillé Riche - Cranberry Crystal Pique-Fleurs with Silver-Plated Flower Frog (Model Lübeck, attributed)

A magnificent and highly decorative Val Saint Lambert crystal pique-fleurs (flower bowl) in an intense cranberry ruby-pink crystal, richly hand-cut in the celebrated Taillé Riche pattern.

The design is generally attributed to Joseph Simon and belongs to the prestigious early 20th-century production of the Belgian crystal manufacturer.

The bowl is fitted with its original removable metal flower frog (grille à fleurs), allowing floral arrangements to be displayed elegantly while showcasing the brilliance of the crystal itself. The deeply cut geometric and floral motifs create a spectacular play of light, highlighting the richness of the ruby overlay and the exceptional craftsmanship for which Val Saint Lambert became internationally renowned.

The shape closely resembles the Lübeck model illustrated in early Val Saint Lambert catalogues from the 1908 period, a time regarded as one of the most accomplished eras of the manufactory.

Very good antique condition. The crystal remains bright and attractive with no major damage observed. The s flower grille shows expected age-related wear and patina.
