Noh面具 - 木 - Zō-onna [增女/増] + 丝绸包 (沒有保留價)
Embodying ethereal purity and supreme aristocratic dignity, this Japanese wooden Noh mask represents the 増女(ぞうおんな / Zō-onna). Stripping away mortal sensuality, it captures a quiet, intellectual tension between absolute tranquility and profound, unearthly melancholy.
Carved to depict deities and celestial beings—most notably serving as a Hagoromo mask—this authentic Noh theater mask physically manifests yūgen (mysterious grace) and hie (coldness). The craftsmanship reflects this rigorous aesthetic: flatter cheeks remove youthful softness, while narrow, calm eyes project a detached serenity. Meticulous kegaki (hairlines) enforce strict nobility, and the pristine white gofun base contrasts sharply with black and red accents. The reverse bears traditional calligraphy, adding historical mystique to this signed Japanese mask.
