Welcome to all high-end Pokémon collectors and investors. Up for auction is a true holy grail of the Japanese vintage era: Magikarp #035/048 from the legendary Pokémon Web expansion, released exclusively in Japan back in 2001. This specific card features the highly coveted "1st Edition" stamp and has been awarded the perfect GEM MINT 10 grade by PSA (Certification Number: 85222103). HISTORICAL CONTEXT & ARTWORK PRESTIGE: The Pokémon Web series is one of the rarest, most limited, and hardest-to-complete sets in the entire history of the TCG. These cards could NOT be bought in standard booster packs in retail stores; they were exclusively available online through the official Pokémon Center Japan website for a very short window. Furthermore, this Magikarp #035 features the iconic and legendary artwork illustrated by Ken Sugimori, originally used for the nearly unobtainable 1998 "Tamamushi University Magikarp" prize card. Having this legendary artwork in the unique 2001 e-Card Web layout makes this an elite-tier collector's piece with incredible historic value.
