It is hand-signed "AKio" by the artist on the lower margin, and comes with an official Certificate of Authenticity fixed to the back of the frame. The artwork depicts a tender scene of a bear cub and kitten chatting together on a wooden bridge under a bright full moon and starry soft blue night sky, rendered in Watanabe’s signature gentle watercolour-style muted tones. The print itself is in perfect mint condition with no fading, tears or spots. It is housed in its original solid dark green wooden frame with protective glass and white mat board.
