Up for auction is a nice 1/2 size french Amati copy violin made by Paul Beuscher for professional musician or collector. The label says: Paul Beuscher 27 Boulevard Beaumarchais (pres de la Bastille) Paris. The second label reads Copie d' Antonius Amati di Cremona Faciebat 1627. The strongly flamed two pieces maple back measures 309 mm. The total length of the violin is 510 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 145 mm; middle bouts: 95 mm; lower bouts: 182 mm. There are no cracks or repairs. Original golden amber varnish remains in good condition. Inlaid purfling, very nice made.
