Celtic 青銅色 Amulet, 古代凯尔特铜质护身符群——公元前一千年四件个人防护物 (沒有保留價)
A rare set of four ancient Celtic bronze amulets and symbolic personal objects, dated to the 1st millennium BC.
The group includes four different forms:
a bronze pendant symbolizing transition, solar balance, and protection
a bronze amulet pendant in the form of a ritual sceptre or sacred staff
a hollow bronze aroma pendant, possibly used as a small scent container
a bronze dress appliqué, used both as decoration and as a protective amuletic element
Together, these objects reflect the rich symbolic world of ancient Celtic culture. They are small in size, but strong in meaning. Each piece represents a different part of personal belief: passage, authority, scent, protection, and identity.
The first pendant has a distinctive geometric form with a circular upper part and a stable lower base. The circle was one of the most important symbols in Celtic tradition. It was connected with the sun, eternity, cycles of life, and the movement of time. The open space within the pendant may be interpreted as a symbolic passage between states, worlds, or life phases.
The second amulet has the form of a miniature ritual sceptre or sacred staff. Its slender body, suspension loop, and rounded lower terminal give it a strong ritual appearance. In the Celtic world, such forms may be associated with protection, authority, continuity, and spiritual power. Even in miniature form, the object feels more than decorative.
The third pendant is especially unusual. It has a hollow conical body and a suspension loop, suggesting that it may have been used as a small aroma container or scent amulet. It may have held resin, herbs, aromatic material, or another protective substance. In ancient ritual life, scent, smoke, herbs, and natural materials were closely connected with purification, memory, healing, and protection.
The fourth object is a small bronze dress appliqué. It likely served both as an ornamental element and as a protective sign worn on clothing. In ancient Celtic dress culture, decoration was not only visual. Metal elements attached to clothing could mark identity, protect the wearer, and connect the body with symbolic power. This appliqué has a compact rounded form with a radiating pattern, giving it the appearance of a small solar or floral sign.
The surfaces show natural bronze patina, green mineral traces, earthy deposits, and visible age wear. The objects have not been overcleaned and preserve a convincing archaeological character. Each piece shows normal ancient wear, surface irregularities, and oxidation consistent with genuine ancient bronze objects.
This is a rare and meaningful Celtic bronze group for collectors of ancient European amulets, ritual objects, and symbolic personal ornaments.
Legend:
Four small objects.
Four quiet signs from the Celtic world.
One marked the passage between states.
One carried the image of power.
One held scent, memory, and protection.
One rested on clothing like a small sign of the sun.
They were not made to impress from a distance.
They were made to stay close.
On the body.
On the chest.
On the clothing.
Near the skin.
A scent could guard a person.
A circle could hold balance.
A staff could speak of authority.
A small appliqué could turn ordinary clothing into something protected.
The people who wore them are gone.
Their names are gone.
Their voices are gone.
But bronze remembers.
And these four objects still carry the silent language of ancient protection.
