青銅器時代 青銅色 短倒钩箭头一对 (沒有保留價)
A pair of Bronze Age bronze arrowheads, both featuring a triangular blade with a prominent central mid-rib and a short, narrow tang. The shoulders are sloping slightly downwards, creating short but sharp barbs. One of the arrowheads has a cylindrical stem between the blade and the tang. Patination and earthly encrustations to the surface. Chips to the edges of the blades and barbs. Warping to the bronze on one side of the arrowhead without a stem.
In ancient times a number of nomadic populations, such as the Medes and the Kassites, settled in the Western Asiatic area. Due to the nomadic nature of the tribes, none of the bronzes were of great size, since it was required for them to be light and portable. Excavated items often included weapons, tools, and finials, as well as small amulets and fittings. Everyday objects are also found including pins and bracelets. Their artwork mainly comprises ornaments, vessels and weapons. Archaeological evidence suggests that the bronze objects often serve ceremonial functions given their funerary contexts.
