賣家描述
Elegant Middle east silver bowl from the Pahlavi period, crafted in 875 silver (84 zolotnik standard) and incorporating an original Iranian 5000 dinar silver coin dated 1310 SH (1931/32).
The centre of the bowl features the portrait of Reza Shah Pahlavi, while the reverse displays the crowned Lion and Sun emblem, one of the most iconic symbols of pre-revolutionary Persia. The exterior is richly decorated with finely hand-chased and engraved floral and geometric motifs, reflecting the high level of Persian silversmithing during the first half of the 20th century.
A decorative and collectible object combining numismatic interest with traditional Persian silver craftsmanship. Pieces from the Pahlavi era bearing royal imagery and the Lion & Sun emblem are increasingly appreciated by collectors of Persian art and historical silver.
Condition: Very good antique condition with minor signs of age and use. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
