Dogma Prima Shockresistant 57007 - Manual Wind - 1950s - 35mm
Dogma Prima Shockresistant, a Swiss manual-wind dress watch from the 1950s–60s. Gold-plated case over a stainless steel back (reference 57007), fitted with a Dogma-signed hand-wound caliber and a small seconds register at six o'clock.
Dogma is a long-established Swiss house from Lenzburg, active since the late 19th century, and the Prima line was its mid-century dress range. This example carries the classic configuration collectors look for in the series: a silver dial with applied gold baton markers, Arabic numerals at the quarters, the red "Prima" signature, and the sub-seconds at six. The watch is signed on the dial, the movement bridge (with the Dogma "W" mark), and the caseback.
- Movement: Manual wind, Dogma-signed caliber, small seconds
- Case: Gold-plated front over stainless steel back (ref. 57007), ~35mm excluding crown
- Dial: Silver with applied gold baton markers, Arabic quarter numerals, sub-seconds at 6
- Crystal: Acrylic
- Strap: Brown leather (aftermarket)
- Functions: Hours, minutes, small seconds
- Water resistance: Untested for current vintage seal
- Year: 1950s–60s
The watch runs well at time of listing. Honest condition: the dial shows age spotting, light scratches and some oxidation marks across the surface; the gold plating shows wear and brassing on the case edges and lugs; the acrylic crystal carries surface scratches. Applied markers and hands are complete and the red Prima printing is legible. Sold on a non-original leather strap.
