A charming cast metal vase of baluster form, coated in brownish gold, adorned with an embossed design of a pair of turtle doves 鳩 (hato) perched on a swirling branch of wisteria 藤 (fuji) in bloom. The reverse is similarly decorated with a hanging wisteria raceme. Period: Japan – Shôwa period (1926-1989). Dimensions: Height 39 cm, Diameter 22 cm. Weight 5 kg. In very good condition.
