A bronze appliqué or pendant in the form of a stag, ca 7th century BC Depicting a stylized standing stag with prominent branched antlers, alert head and long slender body. The figure has an openwork section beneath the body and a suspension loop on the back, indicating it was used as a decorative mount, harness fitting or personal amulet. The surface shows a dark blackish patina with attractive golden-brown highlights. Height: 2.8 cm. Width: 2.4 cm. Depth: 1.7 cm. Weight: 11.98 g.
