花瓶 - 陶瓷 - 日本 - Asano Norio(苧野憲夫)- Kyokusen Kiln(旭泉窯) (沒有保留價)

This exceptional Kutani ware vase was created by Norio Asano, one of the leading contemporary Kutani artists and the founder of his own studio, Asahi Izumi Kiln. Asano is widely admired for developing his original "Ocean Blue Sairyu" technique, a distinctive style characterized by flowing layers of turquoise, cobalt blue, and deep indigo that evoke the movement and depth of the sea. His works combine traditional Kutani craftsmanship with a modern artistic sensibility, resulting in pieces that are both elegant and highly expressive. This vase, titled **"Sairyu – Waves and Fish"**, beautifully captures the artist's unique world. The mesmerizing blue gradations flow naturally across the surface, creating the impression of ocean currents and underwater light. A whimsical fish motif swims gracefully among stylized waves and bubbles, adding movement, charm, and a touch of fantasy. Fine crackles (kannyu) beneath the glaze catch and reflect light in subtle ways, enhancing the watery atmosphere and giving the surface remarkable depth. The flowing glaze, the delicate line work, and the harmony of color demonstrate the exceptional skill cultivated at Asahi Izumi Kiln. Unlike traditional Kutani ware dominated by red and gold overglaze decoration, Asano's works are immediately recognizable by their bold use of blue and their contemporary aesthetic. His Ocean Blue series has earned admiration among collectors who appreciate both Japanese craftsmanship and modern ceramic art. The original signed wooden box (tomobako) is included. A beautiful and poetic work that brings the serenity and mystery of the ocean into your living space. Dimensions * Height: 25 cm * Maximum body diameter: 13 cm * Mouth diameter: 3 cm * Weight: 1,000 g * Packed weight: approx. 2,000 g The vase is in excellent vintage condition and comes with its original signed wooden box (tomobako). 【Shipping & Tax】 The item will be carefully packed and shipped from Japan via EMS (Express Mail Service).
