Hachimen in the early Showa era. The bowl features a warm, earthy glaze with a serene, hand-painted crane (Tsuru) on the front, a traditional Japanese symbol of longevity and good fortune. The shape is robust yet elegant, with visible finger-ridges (rokuro-me) that provide a comfortable grip. The "wari-kodai" (split foot) is a distinctive feature of high-quality tea bowls, adding a sense of rustic strength to the piece. The underside of the wooden box lid contains a inscription in calligraphy.
