Here up for offer is a genuine Ancient Rome Clay Oil Lamp. It dates from around 2nd - 3rd Century AD. The Oil Lamp was acquired from an antiques dealer and before that belonged to a private collection in West Germany. Authenticity is therefore guaranteed. Roman oil lamp (disc type) made of brownish clay with a band of vine tendrils around the body and a palmette design in the bowl. Lamp has a small chip missing, otherwise intact with finger loop.
