This is a Japanese Buddhist rosary (prayer beads), a single-strand bead set specifically for women, made of natural red agate. It comes with an original "rosary bead" storage box and is a common Buddhist/prayer/recitation tool used in Japanese Jodo Shinshu Buddhism. It can also be collected as a Japanese-style collectible. Main body: A single strand of red agate beads of the same size; Mother bead: A large main bead (Buddha head) at the bottom, paired with an agate three-way gourd-shaped stupa; Tassel pendant: Two bundles of deep purple hand-woven tassels, the top of which is a pineapple knot net with gold thread embellishments.
