開元通寶是七世紀唐朝的主要貨幣，並非年號錢幣。它繼承了秦半兩和漢五銖貨幣的形狀和大小，並由此演變出新的十進位重量單位——錢和兩，取代了過去十二進位的銖。在千禧年的歷史長河中，這是一項重大的改革，轉變為以硬幣面值記價的貨幣制度，對中國後來的錢幣形制、錢文模式和十進制衡法產生了深遠影響。這2枚開元通寶的版式非常特殊，尤其背面不僅有雙俯月，左邊還有雙星，角月都是相當罕見，第2枚的版式也非常特殊，字體清晰、闊緣之外，背面上有”月”下有”一”，都極為珍貴，請藏家切勿錯過。
35. ACCA F+, Tang Dynasty - Kaiyuan Tongbao Small Coin, Double Moon/Double Stars on the Left/Corner Moon + Wide Rim/Moon Above and One Below, Two Coins Sold Together. The Kaiyuan Tongbao was the main currency of the Tang Dynasty in the 7th century, not a reign-era coin. It inherited the shape and size of the Qin Banliang and Han Wuzhu coins, evolving into new decimal weight units—qian and liang—replacing the previous dodecimal zhu. In the history of the millennium, this was a major reform, transforming into a monetary system based on coin face value, profoundly influencing later Chinese coinage forms, inscription patterns, and the decimal system of weights and measures. These two Kaiyuan Tongbao coins are very special in their design, especially the reverse side, which features not only double moons but also double stars on the left, and a corner moon, all quite rare. The second coin is also very special, with clear characters, a wide rim, and a "moon" above and "one" below on the reverse side. Both are extremely valuable; collectors should not miss them.
