A lovely pair of Chinese porcelain pigeon figures, covered in a vibrant turquoise-blue glaze, with moulded feather details and naturalistic purple-glazed bases. Dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. Size: Each approx. H 11 cm × W 10 cm × D 4.5 cm Condition: One figure is in excellent overall condition, with a short glaze line to the beak, a short glaze line to the chest, and very minor thin enamel abrasions to the underside of the tail. The other figure has a thin flat chip to the beak, thin enamel abrasions to the underside of the tail, and small thin enamel nicks to the edge of the foot/base.
