Neo-Dani 菊花 - 菊花石 自然水石(观赏石),配原装实木底座 - 昭和时期 (沒有保留價)

Name: Japanese Neo-Dani Chrysanthemum Stone Natural Suiseki (菊花石水石) with Solid Wood Daiza Origin: Neo-Dani, Gifu Prefecture, Japan Stone Dimensions: L 14 cm (5.51 in) × W 6 cm (2.36 in) × H 11.8 cm (4.65 in) Daiza Dimensions: L 13.2 cm (5.20 in) × W 7.8 cm (3.07 in) × H 2.5 cm (0.98 in) Total Height: 14.3 cm (5.63 in) Total Weight: 973 g Material: Raw natural Neo-Dani chrysanthemum stone, hand-carved solid wood daiza (台座) Period: The stone formed naturally over hundreds of millions of years; the wooden daiza was hand-carved during the early to mid Showa Period (1926–1960) This high-grade natural chrysanthemum stone suiseki (菊花石水石) originates from Neo-Dani, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, a classic mineral viewing stone highly coveted by Japanese suiseki collectors. Neo-Dani chrysanthemum stone formed over hundreds of millions of years via geological mineralization. Radiating white mineral crystals develop within the dark host rock, naturally creating patterns of fully bloomed chrysanthemums. No carving, dyeing or artificial modification has been done to the stone. The front bears one full, rounded central chrysanthemum bloom with clear layered petals, surrounded by scattered tiny white crystal floral spots for a soft, well-proportioned composition. The reverse side retains its raw yellowish-brown mineral crust and natural porous textures, fully preserving the unpolished primitive geological look of the rough stone. Within Japanese suiseki culture, chrysanthemum patterns stand for grace and longevity. This piece boasts dual value for collection and appreciation, serving as a geological mineral specimen, tea room ornament and traditional scholar’s viewing stone. It is matched with a custom hand-carved premium contoured solid wood daiza (台座). Craftsmen carved an inner groove precisely fitted to the stone’s base, making them an original matching set. Supported by four stable feet, the daiza features mellow natural wood grain with a minimalist wabi-sabi style, ready for direct display in tea rooms, studies and entryways. Natural weathering marks cover the stone’s surface from the passage of time. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs or artificially altered crystal patterns. The wooden daiza bears subtle wear from years of use; overall condition is good relative to its manufacturing era.
