Viking era, silver alloy Mjöllnir amulet pendant with integral suspension loop and attached ring. The front is decorated with punched circle-dot designs, plain reverse. The pendant will be delivered on a modern leather jewellery cord.

This amulet is a variant of the well-known Scandinavian Thor hammer.

-> The ring-and-dot motif was widely used in Viking-age and early medieval metalwork. It appears on pendants, brooches, strap fittings, tools, and other personal objects. The design was easy to apply with a punch, but it also created a strong decorative rhythm and may have carried symbolic or protective meaning.
