Dial and Hands
The dial is a masterclass in mid-century restraint, featuring a brilliant silver sunburst finish that catches the light beautifully. Applied faceted baton hour markers provide excellent depth, with a distinctive double baton positioned at twelve o'clock. The crisp black typography, including the elegant script of the Seiko Crown logo and the printed Diashock 21 Jewels designation, remains perfectly intact. The classic dauphine hands are sharply faceted and polished, complementing the indices flawlessly. Upon close inspection, the dial presents exceptionally clean for its age, exhibiting only the faintest, microscopic signs of natural vintage aging under macro photography, with no prominent spots, stains, moisture marks, or visible damage.

Case and Crystal
The 34mm stainless steel case features a slender, polished profile that sits elegantly on the wrist. The tapered straight lugs retain their structural integrity and shape, showing honest, light superficial wear consistent with careful vintage use rather than heavy polishing. A thin, polished bezel frames the dial perfectly, maximizing the visual presence of the watch. Inside beats the beautifully engineered Seikosha Caliber 560 manual-wind movement, a 21-jewel mechanism that laid the mechanical groundwork for Seiko's highest-tier chronometers. The robust bridges feature clean, straight brushing, and the movement overall presents very well visually, with crisp engravings denoting the Seikosha manufacture and jewel count. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. The timegrapher results indicate a rate of -30 to -33 seconds per day.

Strap
The watch is fitted with a period-correct black leather strap featuring an embossed crocodilian grain pattern and matching black stitching. The strap is supple, complementing the formal, mid-century aesthetic of the timepiece, and is secured by a standard stainless steel pin buckle.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition. This Seiko Crown has been wonderfully preserved, standing out primarily due to its striking, near-flawless dial and clean handset. The stainless steel case shows normal, honest wear with light handling marks but retains a strong vintage profile without aggressive over-polishing. The interior case markings remain remarkably crisp.
