Its radiating geometric decoration is formed by elongated tapered bands with alternating satin-finished and polished surfaces, enhancing the curvature of the vase and giving it a strong modernist presence. Numerous fine bubbles within the glass diffuse the light and create a deep, frosted and subtly mineral appearance. The colour shifts from smoky brown to charcoal grey, with amber tones visible in the more transparent areas. The piece bears a Schneider signature beneath the base.
