Kodak Duo Six-20 Art Deco Styled Folding Camera First Model 1933-37 with f/3.5 Lens Lovely precision made folding camera with optical folding finder. This is the first version of the Duo Six-20, with chrome and black enamel styling on the top and bottom. It's also the better version off the original with a Kodak Anastigmat 7cm f/3.5 lens with helical focusing operated with a lever. Shutter speeds are T, B and 1 through to 1/300th second. The Duo was made in Germany at the Kodak A.G. Dr.Nagel Werk, bought by Kodak to initially produced the Kodak Retina, Kodak's first 35mm camera. The Duo has a good pedigree. The focus ring is extremely stiff, but responds to being left in a window a while, or gently heated with a heat gun or hair dryer. The stiffness is caused by very old grease which no longer acts as a lubricant. There's a bit of brassing on the finder. There's been an attempt to repaint some missing enamel on the bottom of the camera. Aperture works well. Slower speeds are sticky.
