It is the kind of temper line that draws the eye and catches the light from across a room, a genuine pleasure to study under good lighting. Shape (sugata): hira-zukuri construction with a mune back and a neat ko-kissaki; a gentle, harmonious curvature that gives the blade a refined, graceful profile. Temper line (hamon): a strong, well-defined notare-midare in nioi with scattered nie and a bright, vivid habuchi — the standout feature of the sword. Bōshi: follows the rhythm of the hamon and turns back cleanly at the tip. Steel grain (jihada): fine and compact itame / ko-itame, soundly and cleanly forged.
