Dating to the 1960s, this striking design features two substantial textured "ice glass" panels mounted along each side of the mirror. Their sculptural relief beautifully diffuses the light from the four internal bulbs, creating a warm indirect glow around the central mirror. The heavily textured cast glass strongly recalls the iconic designs of Kalmar lighting from the same period, making this an outstanding example of German Mid-Century Modern design. The unique mirror is complete with its original lighting system and has been professionally fitted with a power cord and inline switch for immediate use. It can also be connected directly to a wall outlet if desired. The mirror glass shows only minimal age-related foxing around the edges, entirely consistent with its age and adding authentic vintage character without detracting from its appearance.
