Antique low-karat gold ring with sardonyx shell cameo, late '800 – early '900. Handcrafted, openwork setting. Cameo: authentic carving on sardonyx shell, salmon-pink background. Classic feminine profile, smooth and softened by time. Circa 1890–1910. Conditions to be considered worn, in relation to the age of the piece. Shows a pronounced patina of aging on the metal, while on the cameo there is visible, corresponding to the hairstyle, some wear of the organic material (a small fragment), an element that attests to its historical authenticity.
