The case is made of titanium and the bezel of black ceramic. Despite the substantial case size, the titanium construction keeps it from feeling as heavy as the figures suggest. The case, bezel, and bracelet are unified in black for a cohesive overall appearance. The black dial carries world city codes around its outer edge, along with a date display and a sub-dial indicating a second time zone. Silver-coloured hands and hour markers stand out clearly against the black surface, keeping the time easy to read on a dial that carries a great deal of information. The crystal is sapphire glass with Super Clear Coating. Since the watch can be set to local time at the press of a button, it is easy to handle on business trips and travel across time zones. Solar charging by light and a perpetual calendar that requires no adjustment until 28 February 2100 keep day-to-day operation free of fuss. For places where radio transmission is not permitted, such as on board aircraft, a setting is provided to switch the reception function off. The bracelet is SEIKO's original titanium bracelet. The black dial is also in good condition. The hands and hour markers show no deterioration. The front and sides of the case and the black ceramic bezel are all in good condition. The titanium bracelet is likewise in clean condition. Overall the watch shows almost no scratches. Please check the photographs for the finer details. The watch has been exposed to light and confirmed to run. All functions fitted to the watch operate correctly. A GPS signal reception test was carried out and reception was confirmed. Whether reception is possible depends on location, weather, and satellite conditions. The rechargeable battery of a solar watch is a consumable part. We have not measured or guaranteed the state of charge or the duration on a full charge. The rechargeable battery has not been replaced.
