iconic mechanical Olivetti Studio 44 typewriter, one of the most famous and recognizable pieces of mid-20th century Italian industrial design. Originally designed in 1952 by the prestigious architect and designer Marcello Nizzoli in collaboration with engineer Giuseppe Beccio, this model was cleverly conceived as a “semi-portable” or studio machine. Its purpose was to bridge the market gap by offering the mechanical robustness and high performance of a standard office machine in a format substantially more compact.

This unit features its original die-cast aluminum body in the classic sought-after blue-green/turquoise muted color (seafoam green) characteristic of the brand. It features a Spanish QWERTY keyboard, including the physical Ñ key, and keeps its elegant original metal front emblem with the inscription "Olivetti Studio 44" clearly visible.
