Elegant Meissen porcelain gravy boat with matching underplate, decorated in the iconic hand-painted blue “Zwiebelmuster” (Blue Onion) pattern. Marked on the base with the Meissen crossed swords underglaze blue mark. The Blue Onion pattern is one of Meissen’s most recognized and collectible designs. Good overall vintage condition. Please note: one of the pouring spouts has a very small chip to the porcelain (see photos). Apart from this minor flaw, the piece presents well with no other significant damage.
