A magnificent vintage Japanese green tea set (Kyusu and Yunomi set) from the renowned Kutani kiln, beautifully presented in its original wooden storage box (tomobako). The Art of Japanese Green Tea & Kutani Porcelain: Japanese tea culture is deeply rooted in mindfulness, harmony, and the daily enjoyment of fine brews. This set is specifically designed for Japanese green tea (Sencha), rather than powdered matcha used in formal tea ceremonies. Kutani ware (九谷焼), with centuries of rich history originating from Ishikawa Prefecture, is world-renowned for its vibrant overglaze painting techniques and exquisite craftsmanship. This set embodies that artistic legacy, featuring a sophisticated motif of delicate green bamboo (take) gracefully swaying against an ivory-white, crackle-glazed porcelain body, elegantly enhanced by subtle, gleaming gold accents. It is a wonderful, functional set to bring serenity and authentic elegance to your daily green tea moments.
