This desk was designed by the Dutch designer Dick Dankers. Dick Dankers is the founder and former owner of The Frozen Fountain on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. In 1990, he won the Dutch Furniture Award, and this desk is part of the collection for which he received that recognition. The desk was purchased directly from The Frozen Fountain in 1990 and has had only one owner since new. It is in beautiful condition and has been carefully maintained throughout the years. There are only a few minor signs of wear consistent with its age. A rare piece of Dutch design with excellent provenance, now ready for a new owner to enjoy.
