This is a genuine enamel sign for "tobacco" that was actually displayed in front of tobacco retail stores during the Showa 30s-40s (1960s-1970s).

At the time, tobacco was a national monopoly (Japan Tobacco and Salt Public Corporation), and this historical item was issued as a mark of authorized retailers. With its simple design of white lettering on a vibrant red background, it exudes a Showa retro atmosphere.

【Condition】
Shows genuine wear from aging, rust on the edges, scratches, stains, and signs of long-term outdoor use, all consistent with its age. These features enhance its vintage authenticity and its appeal as a collectible.
