賣家描述
Scientific Name: Mixosaurus
Period: Anisian, Middle Triassic
Location: Yunnan, China
Slab Dimensions: 76 × 37 × 2 cm
Fossil Length: Approximately 80 cm
Description:
This is a rare Mixosaurus fossil from the Middle Triassic deposits of Yunnan, China, dating back approximately 240 million years. Mixosaurus was an early ichthyosaur, a group of extinct marine reptiles that lived in the ancient oceans during the Mesozoic Era.
The specimen is preserved on a natural stone slab and displays a clear body outline with visible skeletal details. Its large size, natural preservation, and historical significance make it an impressive piece for fossil collection, educational display, or home decoration.
This fossil is 100% natural and has strong scientific and display value. We use reinforced protective packaging to reduce the risk of damage during transportation. However, due to the fragile nature of fossil slabs, minor cracks or small loose fragments may occur during shipping. If this happens, they can usually be repaired carefully with suitable adhesive.
With its rare Middle Triassic origin and distinctive marine reptile form, this Mixosaurus fossil is a valuable and eye-catching specimen for collectors.
