Antique hammered copper kindling box dating from around 1900. The hinged lid is decorated with an embossed pastoral scene, while the hand-hammered finish and original side handles give the piece its authentic character. Originally used as a coal scuttle, it is now ideal for storing kindling beside a fireplace or as a decorative interior accent. Good antique condition with age-related wear and a natural patina.
