Simon Schmitz voleva creare un movimento il più fluido possibile, che lo portasse immediatamente alla sfera. Una sfera ha così tanti fantastici attributi. Con una sfera come giunto non ci sono direzioni limitate, non ha sinistra o destra, né cima né fondo. Quindi, con la sfera come elemento caratterizzante di questo pezzo, tutto il resto "ruotava" attorno ad essa. La geometria, l'equilibrio, l'attrito. Simon Schmitz wanted to create a movement as fluid as possible, bringing him immediately to the sphere. A sphere has so many fantastic attributes. With a sphere as a joint, there are no limited directions, it has no left or right, nor top or bottom. Therefore, with the sphere as the defining element of this piece, everything else "revolved" around it. The geometry, the balance, the friction. Everything reduces to the sphere, visually indicating it. The final result is an object that looks wind-blown. It spins effortlessly around its pivot, like planets orbiting one another.
