Stunning and charming Telefunken "Melody" radiophonograph, a true gemstone of vintage audio design manufactured in Italy between 1968 and 1971. This elegant combination system features a multiband radio and an integrated turntable housed beneath a beautifully finished wooden flip-up lid. With its clean geometric lines, retro white front grille, and wooden cabinet, it serves as a perfect example of mid-century design and an eye-catching decorative piece. Condition Report: Working condition: The unit has been tested and is perfectly working. The radio section tunes into frequencies correctly and the turntable spins regularly at all speeds (16, 33, 45, 78 RPM). It delivers a warm, signature vintage sound. Cosmetic condition: The cabinet is in beautiful overall condition and structurally sound. For the sake of absolute transparency, please note the following minor flaws due to age: 1. Rubber platter mat: As clearly documented in the close-up photos , the original rubber mat has a split/crack on the left side due to the natural hardening of the material over the decades. This does not affect the platter's rotation. 2. Wooden cabinet: The wooden casing shows a few minor, normal surface scratches and light scuffs from regular handling, fully consistent with its age. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR BIDDERS: The item is sold strictly in the condition shown in the gallery. The attached photographs are an integral, high-priority, and descriptive part of this listing. Bidders are requested to carefully review all detailed pictures before placing a bid. The buyer accepts the item with the cosmetic imperfections described and pictured.
