antique collectable Teddy Bear， measuring a staggering 76cm in height (measured lying down， approximately 71 cm in standing)， probably from the 1920s， most likely circa 1920–1927。 The bear represents the classic design of large German collectible bears from the interwar period. It features a five-point joint – the head， arms， and legs are movable. Its proportions are particularly striking: a large head with high-set ears， a distinctly elongated and protruding muzzle， a massive oval body， very long arms and legs， and large， elongated feet. The entire piece creates a distinctive， archaic silhouette typical of high-quality European teddy bears from the first quarter of the 20th century. The face is exceptionally decorative. The long muzzle terminates in a large， hand-embroidered nose， embroidered with black thread， from which a vertical line and symmetrically extending stitching form the muzzle. Hand-embroidered black claw markings remain on the paw tips. The teddy bear also has large， shiny， glass-like eyes. The eyes currently differ in shade – one is brown， the other has a more pronounced reddish-amber tone – so it is impossible to determine whether both are the original factory set. The teddy bear is made of light gold mohair on a woven backing. The original dense fleece has been preserved to varying degrees on different parts of the body， allowing both the structure of the old mohair and the material used for its backing to be clearly visible. The distinctive head structure， long muzzle， limb profile， large feet， embroidered nose and claws， and overall proportions bear strong resemblance to the famous large Bing teddy bears from the 1920s. A particular highlight of this piece is its impressive size – approximately 76 cm tall. Such large teddy bears were produced in much smaller quantities than the popular medium-sized models and today constitute impressive collector's and decorative items. Due to its size， the teddy bear has an almost sculptural presence and looks great as a centerpiece in a collection of vintage toys. The item is preserved in authentic antique condition， with clear traces of its approximately century-long history. Numerous abrasions and chips in the mohair fleece are visible， revealing the woven backing in places， natural discoloration of the material， wear on the paw surfaces， and traces of old repairs and stitching. There is minor material damage on the foot pads. The joints are loose， which should be taken into account when handling. However， the most important elements that gave the bear its original character have been preserved – the shape of the head and muzzle， the embroidered nose and muzzle， claws， large ears， eyes， and complete set of limbs. Traces of use have not been masked or subjected to aggressive renovation， allowing the bear to retain the natural patina of an old collectible toy. Abrasions in the mohair， old stitching， and minor repairs are a testament to its age and history.
