Elegant and versatile American silver-plated serving set by Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co., one of the best-known names in American silverplate and, after 1898, part of the International Silver Company. The mark "Extra Plate" indicates a high-quality silver-plated finish with a heavier layer of silver than standard commercial plating, intended for long-term household use.

This lot combines pieces from two attractive mid-century patterns:

Grand Elegance – an elegant Rococo Revival-inspired design with richly sculpted floral bouquets, scrolling acanthus leaves and graceful shell motifs. Introduced during the late 1950s as one of Rogers' premium decorative patterns.
Magnolia (also marketed as Inspiration) – introduced in 1951, featuring refined floral ornamentation and softly flowing lines, representative of American post-war tableware design.
