This is a commemorative bronze vase with a chrysanthemum design, made in Heisei 6. It was preserved as a commemorative item for those who had received imperial honors. This vase is in the classic Yuhuchun style, with a wide mouth, a long, constricted neck decorated , a rounded, drooping body, and a tapering foot. The surface is finished with traditional Japanese bronze coloring techniques, creating a mottled texture of blue, red, and gold on a black background, each pattern unique. The body is adorned with gilded sixteen-petaled chrysanthemums, a highly representative traditional Japanese motif. A commemorative mark is engraved on the base. This vase is in excellent condition, showing normal signs of use.
