Elegant e importante vaso-scultura in vetro borosilicato soffiato a mano, realizzato dalla rinomata manifattura italiana Soffieria Parise (Marostica, Vicenza), storica azienda specializzata nella lavorazione artistica del vetro borosilicato (Pyrex). L’opera conserva la preziosa etichetta originale della manifattura, elemento che ne attesta l’autenticità e la provenienza.

The vase stands out for a refined composition with a strong sculptural impact, inspired by the elegant forms of a stylized iris or calla flower. The harmonious vertical development culminates in a spectacular corolla formed from four large petals individually shaped while hot, whose soft, sinuous lines give the work a great visual lightness, movement and extraordinary light effects.

The long slender stem features a refined optical ribbing technique, achieved through blowing and subsequent shaping, creating an elegant play of reflections and testifying to the high execution quality of the manufactory. The excellent transparency of borosilicate glass, combined with the precision of the workmanship and the perfect balance of proportions, makes this specimen a significant example of late 20th-century Italian design.

Thanks to its scenographic presence, the vase can be used both as a refined decorative element and as an authentic glass sculpture, capable of enhancing both classical and contemporary environments.
