A hallmarked Silver & oak photo frame dated to 1938, and bearing a hallmark for R.V.P (maker unknown). Of simple elegant form. The oak backboard has been recently fitted wirh a new velvet surface. Adds a contemporary feel to the frame. Nice quality oak body, nice quality clasps/fittings verso. There are some marks and some small dents to the sides of the frame commensurate with age. Please note: The silver mount is not fixed or glued to the oak baseboard. It sits over the frame.
