This is a traditional mouth-blown glass fly or wasp trap (often called a wespenvanger or Fliegenglas) featuring a spherical body raised on three small feet with an inverted internal funnel opening at the base and a cork stopper at the top. The piece is highly decorative as well as functional. We feel that the piece is in overall good original condition with great original patina.
