The watch is powered by a Swiss manual-winding mechanical movement with 17 jewels and shock protection, marked 17 Jewels / Shockproof / Swiss Parts. The movement is in very good condition, currently running and keeping time well. Dial & hands The watch features a particularly attractive original silver-toned dial in excellent condition, with a subtle sunburst effect and applied baton hour markers. The original Titus logo and lettering are beautifully preserved. The hands are original-looking and especially striking, with a large layer of luminous material, characteristic of period watches and providing excellent contrast against the dial. The date aperture at 3 o'clock is framed by an elegant applied surround. Case & bracelet The watch has a substantial approx. 38 mm case diameter excluding the crown, making it a notably large and very wearable vintage watch for its period. The original case is complemented by a matching stainless-steel bracelet, which fits the case very well stylistically and gives the watch a particularly coherent period appearance. The watch retains its original Plexiglas crystal, original Titus-signed crown and original case back. There are signs of age and normal wear to the case and bracelet, visible in the photographs, but the overall impression is very attractive and authentic.
