The stamps are all obliterated with gros chiffre cancellations. 16 stamps show full numbers of bureaux - all different. One stamp on piece, cancelled with GC 3827 St. Quentin shows a minor flaw: diagonal line running from bottom of letter C of FRANC to white dot at top right. The cover posted in Paris and addressed to Aigre, Charente shows on its front a 25c bleu Type II obliterated with etoile de Paris No. 5 together with a Cad type 17 Paris Bt Magenta 14 MAI 74. The reverse shows a CaD ambulant Paris a Bordeaux 14 MAI 74 and a CaD type 16 Aigre 15 MAI 74.
