When buying a barometer, not everyone knows that it needs adjustment.
Even an old, faithful and tuned device, when moving a decent distance (for example, to a fishing lodge 150-300 km away), requires re-tuning. After listening to the weather forecast at your location, you need to set the index arrow to indicate the altitude of the area above sea level. To do this, locate the adjustment screw on the back of the device. Keep an eye on the scale to ensure the correct position.
