Ancient crucifix with Christ and skull – silvered metal – mid 20th century

Description

Ancient religious crucifix in silvered metal, with relief figure of Christ and decorative details.

The cross features dark appliqués in contrast with the metal, the crucified Christ figure and different ornamental elements. At the bottom stands out the motif of a skull with crossed bones, traditional iconography related to Golgotha.

At the top it retains its ring to be able to carry it suspended or hanging.

No contrasts or manufacturer marks are observed, so the exact composition of the metal cannot be determined with certainty.

– Weight: 81 g

Material: silvered metal and dark appliqués.
